Founded in 2008, NOLA Brewing & Pizza Co. is the OG of New Orleans’ craft beer scene, paving the way for the city’s vibrant brewery community. Our flagship beers—NOLA Blonde, Hopitoulas, Irish Channel Stout, 7th Street Wheat, and Tangerine Squeeze—have been satisfying craft beer lovers for years. We’re also proud to host Louisiana’s only true sour beer program, with our Funk Series of barrel-aged sours crafted right here in our Brewery Taproom. With 41 tap handles, our beer lineup is one of the most diverse in the city. In 2023, we expanded to include a full bar featuring cocktails, premium spirits, and a curated wine list that pairs perfectly with our food.
In 2020, during the pandemic, we launched the NOLA Pizza Project. Inspired by our owner, a Tulane graduate who grew up outside New York City, we set out to bring authentic NYC-style pizza to New Orleans. Knowing water is key to NYC’s iconic crust, we reverse-engineered water from three NYC boroughs in our brewery lab to craft the perfect base. Applying the same care we bring to our beer, our pizza dough starts with an organic sourdough starter, a blend of artisanal flours, and our NYC-style water. After a 48-hour cold fermentation, the result is a cracker-thin crust like no other. We bake our 18-inch round pies and Grandma-style square pies in Baker’s Pride ovens, serving up classic NYC slices right here in New Orleans.
No pizza is complete without wings, so we make ours authentic Buffalo-style, just like Upstate New York. We also serve classic hero sandwiches—chicken, eggplant, and meatball parmesan—as well as fresh, made-from-scratch salads and dressings. Except for our pepperoni, everything in our kitchen is crafted in-house for the freshest flavors.
At NOLA Brewing & Pizza Co., a good time isn’t complete without great music. Each weekend, we host some of the best local talent—most shows are free, and when they’re not, tickets are among the most affordable in town. Come for the beer, stay for the pizza, and enjoy the music.
