The Bluegrass Pickin' Party is an open acoustic bluegrass jam.  Bring your guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, bass, dobro, harmonica, or singing voice to join the jam circle. Beginners welcome to come and learn traditional bluegrass music. Intermediate and advanced players welcome as well.   This weekly jam is also open to anyone and everyone who'd like to come listen and enjoy the music.

School of Rock Metairie / New Orleans presents the 7th Annual Winter Music Festival!  

Performances by our Rock 101, Performance Program, and House Band students will feature music from ABBA vs. Bee Gees, Radiohead vs. Coldplay, Van Halen and Southern Rock! 

Just like all our Festivals, December 13 & 14, 2025, at NOLA Brewing & Pizza Co will be suitable for Rockers of all ages. 

Under 18 gets in for FREE.

School of Rock Metairie/New Orleans is proud to present their two Adult Bands on Saturday, December 13 at 7pm—a special evening performance set between the daytime School of Rock shows that weekend.

These 18+ students bring a wide range of experience levels, all driven by the same desire to get onstage and create music together. Expect a spirited set filled with rock favorites, great energy, and the excitement that comes from people finally stepping into the spotlight and doing what they love.

Grab a craft beer, cocktail, or pizza and come support New Orleans’ grown-up rock students as they take over the NOLA Brewing stage for a standout Saturday night show.

Noah Young brings his trio to the Barn for a night that’s just flat-out fun to be in the room for. With Mahmoud Chouki joining on guitar, you’ve got some of the city’s most creative players cutting loose together. Good vibes, great tunes, and an easy Saturday night pre-Christmas hang where the music does exactly what you want it to.

We’re mashing up two crowd-favorites for one big Sunday night before Christmas. Start the evening with Final Draft Movie Trivia: Christmas Movie Edition, then stick around as The Hunks of Coal take over with a raucous mix of holiday smut and oddball covers—absolutely not the soundtrack for a “family night out,” so call the sitter and lean into the chaos.

We’ll be pouring fresh eggnog and our winter seasonal Girl Stout Cookie, the perfect pairing for a night that gets progressively funnier (and weirder) as it goes. Come for the trivia, stay for the music, and make Sunday night feel like a holiday all its own.

The Nola Dukes Band is composed of highly skilled New Orleans musicians who perform at a wide range of private events, including weddings, corporate gatherings, brand activations, and Mardi Gras balls. Their repertoire spans various genres such as jazz, New Orleans styles, throwback soul & funk, Top 40, pop, and disco. They can tailor their performance to your specific needs, focusing on particular styles or blending these genres to create the perfect atmosphere for your event.
