FEST 2026: Swamp Boss - Honey Island Swamp Band Plays Springsteen with Talking Grass ( The Tanglers Talking Heads Bluegrass Tribute)
Friday April 24th
Swamp Boss returns to NOLA Brewing for round two.
After last year’s show turned into one of those nights people kept talking about long after the lights came up, we knew we had to run it back.
Honey Island Swamp Band returns with Swamp Boss, their high-energy tribute to the music of Bruce Springsteen. Instead of a straight cover set, they put their own Louisiana spin on the songs. Think swampy grooves, big sing-along moments, and a room full of people shouting every word.
Opening the night is a fan favorite that also returns to the stage this year. Talking Grass, the bluegrass tribute to Talking Heads performed by The Tanglers, flips those iconic songs into fast-picking, banjo-driven versions that are as fun as they are surprising.
Last year the energy in the room was unreal. The crowd loved it, the band loved it, and by the end of the night everyone agreed…we had to do it again.
Swamp Boss 2026 Friday, April 24 Show starts at 8:30 PM

Saturday April 25th
Fest has a way of creating bands that only exist for a weekend.
On Saturday, April 25, Nick Etwell — trumpeter with Mumford & Sons and leader of the UK soul-jazz outfit The Filthy Six — brings a special Filthy Six All-Stars lineup to NOLA Brewing for a one-off Fest collaboration.
The group features Eddie Roberts of The New Mastersounds on guitar, Joe Ashlar on Hammond organ, Brad Walker on saxophone, and Brian Richburg Jr. on drums, with a special guest star bassist rounding out the rhythm section.
The Filthy Six sound sits right in that sweet spot where funk, soul jazz, blues, and Latin boogaloo meet the classic Hammond-organ groove tradition. Tight horns, deep pocket, and plenty of room for the band to stretch out.
The kind of lineup that gets musicians’ attention during Fest weekend.
If you like catching great players locking into a groove and seeing where it goes, this is one worth being in the room for.

FEST 2026: Life Is A Carnival - A Tribute to the Music of the Band performed by HollyRock
Friday May 1st
Fest season in New Orleans means great music everywhere you turn, but we’re especially excited about this one.
HollyRock has quickly become one of the most talked-about live bands in the city, and the last two times they played NOLA Brewing the Barn was absolutely packed. Their musicianship, energy, and love for classic American roots music make them the perfect band to take on a catalog as legendary as The Band.
For this special show, HollyRock presents “Life Is A Carnival,” a full night celebrating the music of one of the most influential groups ever to shape rock, folk, country, and soul. It’s the kind of music made for big stages, big sing-alongs, and a room full of people having a great time together.
Fest weekend crowds, a packed room, incredible songs, and one of New Orleans’ hottest bands bringing it all to life on stage. If their past shows here are any indication, this one is going to be a blast.
Come early, grab pizza or wings, a cold craft beer or something from the full bar, and get ready for a night of timeless music and serious fun.
