The Bluegrass Pickin' Party is an open acoustic bluegrass jam.  Bring your guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, bass, dobro, harmonica, or singing voice to join the jam circle. Beginners welcome to come and learn traditional bluegrass music. Intermediate and advanced players welcome as well.   This weekly jam is also open to anyone and everyone who'd like to come listen and enjoy the music.

Welcome to Brisket, Babka & Beats, hosted by Jewish Community Day School in partnership with Shaya Barnett Foundation. Join us for a tasty evening filled with a variety of delicious bites from local chefs, groovy beats, and tasty cocktails, including vegetarian and kosher options.

With performances by Where Y'acht and The Shanks.

📚 Book Signing with Chef Alon Shaya: Celebrate the New Orleans launch of Chef Alon Shaya's new cookbook, Memories of a Good Meal: Recipes of Resilience Inspired by Stories of World War II Survival. Throughout the afternoon, Chef Shaya will be available to sign books, with copies available for purchase on-site from Octavia Books.

If comedy is your thing, then join Jorge Velazquez of Craft Comedy to check out some funny local talent! The vibes begin at 6:30pm and the show starts at 7pm.

You get a double whammy on this night because not only do you get to laugh, but you get cheap eats too! It just so happens that Craft Comedy night is also on Wing Wednesdays and we got $0.50 wings all day long! Som come on in and fill your belly up with wings and laughs!
