The Bluegrass Pickin' Party is an open acoustic bluegrass jam.  Bring your guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, bass, dobro, harmonica, or singing voice to join the jam circle. Beginners welcome to come and learn traditional bluegrass music. Intermediate and advanced players welcome as well.   This weekly jam is also open to anyone and everyone who'd like to come listen and enjoy the music.

Arséne DeLay and Charlie Wooton take the stage at NOLA Brewing & Pizza Co. for a night of New Orleans music.

Arséne DeLay is a singer, songwriter and performer with deep New Orleans roots, bringing together soul, jazz, blues and the musical traditions she grew up around. She’ll be joined by Charlie Wooton, one of New Orleans’ most accomplished and versatile bassists, whose career has taken him from the clubs of New Orleans to stages around the world. Known for his deep-pocket playing and unmistakable groove, Wooton has performed and recorded with an impressive range of artists and is a longtime fixture of the city’s funk and roots music scene. 

Together, DeLay and Wooton make for a pretty special pairing and a great way to spend a Friday night at NOLA Brewing.

Grab a pizza, a beer or a cocktail and settle in for the show.

Jamie Bernstein & The Zen Cowboys ride into NOLA Brewing & Pizza Co. for a night of rockin’ outlaw country music.

Jamie Bernstein leads the charge on fiddle, joined by Keith Hawkins on drums and Bruce Tyner on bass. Expect a night rooted in country, honky-tonk and outlaw sounds, with plenty of fiddle out front and a hard-driving rhythm section behind it.

No cover, no fancy dress code — just live music, cold beer, cocktails and pizza.

Dead Magnolia String Band at NOLA Brewing 

The members of Dead Magnolia String Band found each other through New Orleans’ long-running Monday Night Pickin’ Party — the weekly bluegrass gathering that now calls NOLA Brewing home. What started with musicians picking, singing and swapping songs together eventually became a band of its own. 

Officially formed in 2025, Dead Magnolia String Band plays traditional, hard-driving bluegrass while occasionally reaching outside the genre, working everything from blues and soul to honky-tonk and even grunge into their string-band arrangements. Since coming together, they’ve played shows and festivals throughout the Gulf South and shared bills with acclaimed bluegrass musicians including Bronwyn Keith-Hynes, Jason Carter and The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys. 

Now they’re stepping out of the Monday night picking circle and onto the NOLA Brewing stage for a full Friday night show. Come grab a pizza and a beer or cocktail and hear one of the bands that grew directly out of New Orleans’ thriving bluegrass community.

New Orleans guitarist and songwriter Mike Doussan takes the stage at NOLA Brewing with a pretty special version of his trio — featuring Chris Roberts on bass and August Doussan, on drums.

Mike has been part of the New Orleans music scene for years, bringing together blues, funk, rock and the musical influences of the city. There’s another generation in the mix, with August behind the kit alongside Mike and Chris.

Come catch the Mike Doussan Trio live, grab some pizza and a beer, and spend your Saturday night with us at the brewery.

Dizzy! is taking over NOLA Brewing & Pizza Co. for a free Saturday night show!

Built around brother-and-sister duo David and Izzy, Dizzy! brings a full band and a high-energy mix of rock, pop, funk and more. They’ve been building a following around New Orleans with shows that are fun, loose and made for a Saturday night.

Come see what Dizzy! is all about when they hit the NOLA Brewing stage Saturday, September 26 at 7pm. Grab a pizza, a beer or cocktail and catch three hours of live music.

The album takes the music of The Beatles and runs it through a distinctly New Orleans lens — reimagining familiar songs with the sounds, rhythms and musical traditions of the city. It’s The Beatles, but unmistakably The Walrus and unmistakably New Orleans.

Join us Sunday, September 27 at 5pm as The Walrus brings Elysian Fields Forever to the stage as part of this year’s NOLAxNOLA celebration of New Orleans music and culture.

And because an album release deserves its own beer, we brewed something special for the occasion: Magical Mystery Pour Lager. We’ll have commemorative 6-packs available to-go, canned especially for the album release, so you can take a little piece of the celebration home with you.
